Mission
This Virtual Language Resource Center is looking forward to help you to improve your reading comprehension and writing skills through the use of web 2.0 tools such as the different online platforms you will find within each activity.Additionally, the activities and the different online resources included in the design of this site are aiming to develop attitudes such as Autonomy and Collaboration, powerful tools that will help you to obtain better results in your language learning experiences.
Things to consider before you start
You will find three different stages that you and your classmates need to experience in order; you cannot pick randomly the place where you want to start. You must start with Freedoms and Rights of individuals, then you can move to Global Issues, to end your journey in Identity and Society. In order to have the best experience in this VLRC, you must not skip any stage and any activity.
Now take a look a t the following general recommendations:
- Take a tour around the site before you start your activities, this will help you to be familiarize and to have a good perspective on the things you will find here.
- Pay attention to the words and phrases that are in bold letters and underlined; you must click on them always because they will take you to other online platforms where you will find either useful information, or tasks you need to develop for the different activities.
- The Toolbox is the place where you will find resources and important information related to different language content and short tutorials on the different platforms you will have to visit in order to develop your activities.
